So you’re stubbornly at sea
knowing you’ve done nothing
but postpone those decisions
you’ve got to make – insight
occurred belatedly, the cause
you’ve never doubted, this is
your responsibility & you’ve
never needed to fake it
But crossroads appear where
a graceful curve used to be, on
clear days you took it at speed,
now you have to slow, give way,
turn carefully although it leads
literally to the same place
