brought a damp relief
from brutal heat yet

this saddened Wednesday

in scant two weeks
you managed to
dissemble my beliefs
dissolved an incredulity
which harboured
sweet addiction
how dare you leave?
while grandeur of
grandparenthood
survives the fast

for sanction
of your smile
