a weekend where
a wee girl’s pleasure
consumed more than
an atmosphere
perhaps just a first
birthday celebration
or maybe an indication
of what might be
for Charlotte Lily
as she grows
For me it was
wonderment pure
in simplicity expressed
by a blown kiss
winked from a
wicked eye
