Can’t Complain

Can’t complain, your smile
delights, it lightens hearts so
fluently all lurk of pain is easy
passed away; and even in its
wretchedness the direst state
asserts a troth of family we
fond embrace in hearts and
minds as empathetic amity

Such charming grace to go,
heirs to gloomy emptiness
are émigrés exposed when
you unleash your charity, a
gentleness we know as the
essential man to be
