There is an indecency in seeing plans
so brightly conceived they soar being
sullied and deflated by disenchanted
associates; to be seen in awe ablates
as much as magnificence impeaches
it would seem – measures of success
reflect more about common thinking
than pure and unabashed originality
So indeed it is in the wars we wage,
each policy breeds tactical scenarios
where debate weighs some realities
inconceivable and trades others off
as a consequence; flak jackets in
the end are assuaged to save face
