Been watching the NFL post-season playoff
games; it is not the usual between-season
indulgence of a Rugby Union devotee – but
it covers until Six Nations commence. Else
there’s that aberrational blasphemy of the
sticky wicket Gentleman’s XI with a Shane
Warne dose of inanity instigated I’d guess
to disgracefully sell more TV advertising

It didn’t do the game any good but 20/20
cricket isn’t to be taken too seriously & it
may well increase TV audiences; which in
a similar vein plagues NFL. Any stop-start
act’s flow is sustained by verbal dribble or
fey ads between energised plays
