Whether magic mushrooms or a fool’s folly in
toadstools they’d be akin to fairy tales we get
from Canberra; whether it is a myth that our
politicians are neither plant nor animal – nor
even effectively mineral, could have bases in
fact were they actually useful fungi – so that
explains it you exclaim, and it makes a lot of
contagious sense to consider them that way
Rampant fungal growth explicates all of their
weird behaviour without compromise, if they
survive to maturity - but in their view they’re
all legends overnight anyway; I’d suppose it
an effect of the excrescence they live in that
causes such exponential augmentation
