Audience

So you need an audience he says, or you’ll
fake one grievously; you won’t be the only
pedant who ever did, believe me, there’s a
legion of them. And thus it makes so much
more sense to see this need as an endemic
sustenance – although really only one way,
not everyone suffers your frailty, and diets
of faux adulation lend cruel penalties

Why make me a victim she cries, am I the
product of your circumstance? The flies in
your ointment surmise everyone’s of the
same bent, but they don’t all agree; and it
couldn’t be the world they see anyway – a
vision doesn’t need an arranged audience
