Will Be The Same (Rev)
That day in the shriek of shivering and bitter cold
we watched a man in jungle cams build a tropical
shelter. The irony was not lost when frozen guy
ropes would not untangle.
You will not have to deal with this, he said generously,
his eyes squinted in sunlight reflected a billion times
from frosted leaves and the blades of crystalline grass,
– but, he contended, the sun will be the same.
