Don’t be a goose and tempt fate,
don’t play the late bereaved dilettante
or gravitate to the weighted end.
Though at ease with asses of vast
posteriority and hiding ambiguous
inferiority, you’re a danger to the
penchant few
amused by these
proclivities.
But is there room for me
there with you on your beautifully
proportioned bench?
