Lying To Us All

Expediency, sheer self-
indulgent expediency –
a raw display of unexpurgated
vindictiveness with no satisfactory
explanation, no per se elucidation
in evidence anyway, not even an
excuse. For f*ck’s sake, what’s the
use of seeking moral justification
from an armour plated, amoral
edifice of grandiloquent egotism?

So you say it is not you making
the running, you’re just playing
the game you’ve been handed.
Shame on you! Lying the way
you do has become an art form
for the dispossessed. But they
just lie to themselves while you
make grand capital out of
lying to us all.
