Ideas Like Tiny Flies

Ideas like tiny flies
emerge entranced
to capture eyes elusive
glance, rise as motile mites
that flit with ease from
bright to brighter light.

Try and catch a single
fleck – arrest its wings
with pulse of air & alter
means, track its bent &
broken flight, sigh at
scene of dying sight.

Dance to tunes subliminal
– appeased in orbit’s failing
trace, a wounded arc that
time decayed, and wear
this cloak called luminal;
enraged, ironic A.D.D.
