there is small comfort
less intensity of where
admission bests a
teasing play on words
“I love you”
takes no prisoners –
be assured that what you
said in words dictates
just where it places me
and you are captive
too within the sphere
admitting where our senses
mesh implacably
“I love you too”
is a reply assured
there cannot be a safer
place – I do for sure, to
be imprisoned wilfully
