Wasn’t a pizza to sway the World,
alter perception, or for that matter
amend points of view – but in reality
it had an aloof few sit up and think
Amazed how the mundane can so
easily unscramble a status quo; old
routines prejudiced, dulled senses
wakened, cued to a blaze of passion
“And there’s still more in the pan” –
an enticing invitation, rational or no,
banter changed to wry dreams and
incredible explanations
Voices intertwine seeking discrete
pieces of wisdom placed between
teeth neatly, tasted with organic
eye-closed sensuality complete
