Osama was will be edited
into martyrdom by proxy
there’ll be estranged acts of
venal rectitude – all bizarrely
swayed by a maimed sense
of post hoc reference
assassinating the depraved
beast well may have saved
a belief in common decency;
tho’ nothing’s guaranteed
less immutability, idiomatic
promises of a safe future is
the same as serenity vaguely
assuaged at no-charge
Osama is dead assuredly –
but nothing has changed...
