Let ‘em go – they’re
better grade hypocrisy
when freed restraint
that way we’d see the
mordant irony they really
need to breathe
a choked, abased and
rueful politician is a beast
almost restrained
imagine we can please
ourselves without the
rancour they released
it’s then that peace
profound would hearken
even hearts of stone
