Whenever

pigeon-picture

Shifting a scenic wall calendar so it levels
the PC screen suggests accord formerly not
contemplated – earlier notions of symmetry
were in keeping as few pin-holes in the wall
occupied as doable – fewest thus expressed
abstemiously wise and rational aspirations;
haven’t regressed beyond sanity inherent in
those assertations or the space it breathes

This is peace of mind in a way I’m becoming
at ease with – now side-glances can see if it
is necessary to refocus attention beyond the
immediate, without gracelessly stretching a
stiffened neck, shifting the chair or trying to
remember what day it is, or was, whenever
