Chasing Geese

It could be a day of geese chasing, not
the wild birds of course, we’re basically
domesticated after years of that sort of
wandering, and more or less tied to an
accepted view of means; hence getting
our gift to you seems a valid challenge
worthy of creative innovation and a bit
of subliminally inspired fossick-about

There’s surely a package in dimensions
necessary to contain your fire wagon –
and it’ll be exactly where we’d placed it
thinking there’ll be a need for this later;
which is why we claim wild birds don’t
rate chasing or even enter the game
