Wasn’t ‘Raven’ enough to back the team
which sacked the 49ers, or t’ other way,
but did arrive at a view we’re better off
further from a slapstick churn of comic
spew so as to not lose credibility, or am
I being unkind – if indicative of what is
entertainment deserved in sports today
then fair enough, we’re well served
The game was played with more time lost
to contingencies than minutes of serious
engagement, honoured legacies of grand
endeavour favouring the brave, & brothers
kept siblinghood intact at an interregnum
on the sidelines of their humbleness
