The Bells Toll

 

An historical view doesn’t excuse
how tedious this shit has become;
took modern sanitary systems to
liberate standards where none –
or very few, ever impressed the
over-arching purview it wouldn’t
matter much if some died, don’t
hazard a guess whom

We’re not talking a thousand or
more years here, more like only
yesterday; seems this parlay is
about who makes the dollars or
what profit’s excused, not whom
the bells toll for vociferously
