so we’re planning a happening,
nothing too extravagant – not
a free range, unconstrained
event mapping mad hiatus; we
agree on simple things, states
easy to remember, like being
who we were before realisation
underscored what is between us
no indulgent extremes for sure
bar you and me with a slew of
friends who saw it unfolding, a
commemoration of sagacity –
oh, furthermore, there’ll be a
barbeque to attend too...
