Making way floating between extremes
of evasive behaviour – placating needs
to be seen doing something, anything,
wearing a glazed patronymic grin
Can’t say it is laziness, the broom puts
paid to such dilatory ideas, but it may be
dissolute demons driving depression in
an apron as the noon bell rings
The house is clean you affirm; so what do
I wear now? Sagacious reply is ‘anything
green to blend in with the grass you were
supposed to be mowing’
