It was supposed to be about space –
turned out to be more about presence,
sadly a whole new game, like only
seeing attractive features of actually
unavoidable limitations – I’m captured
hook, line and literal translation with
exhortations to get on the team; they
said ‘climb out of your cupboard’
In an intervening rush of clarity but
before euphoria cedes to reason my
space filled with meaningless trivia –
there’s a new me confined in an aura
of polished confidence from which I
can see less than I’d ever imagine
