Meanings In Silence

silence

It may be a tiny tip to a
small fraction of something
much, much bigger – but
it IS what I see

That there is substance in
back of it is inarguably
knowable, an omnipresence
impartially concealed

And yet in innocence you
reveal not so much in words
as strategies favouring
evasive complicity

For real we’re in this together
– there is raw and inevitable
meaning in silence which
words cannot appeal
