resolving your dilemma and
no chatter relevant; ruthless
diatribes of incendiary piety
are rejected by me, period.

Ecclesiastical outrage does
not legitimate criminal acts
or defend illegal behaviour –
these are your acolytes, they
and you share guilt worthy
of severest approbation

Commit treason if you must,
slay for millennia-dead ideals
but be judged today; and be
assured, you’ll easily see why
your untenable justification
is hideously two-faced
