Eloquence

eloquence

Trying to clear your throat isn’t an
eloquent way to suggest a lifetime
wasted; your decidedly feral nasal
membranes influence each facet of
your character so uniquely spitting
a mucous gob seems less articulate
than true conversation; but you’re
being lucid without appearing trite

Maybe they’ll figure out what it is
blighting your oesophagus – straits
so severe to anyone listening with
their imagination, but most don’t,
so what you’re saying’s proposed
a gob of spit by any other means
