than a contemporary impression of Hades
won’t make the day easier to bear; might
hellishly sell more air conditioners, or fans
for cooling, a sense of ablate opportunism
wasn’t meant to suffer fools gladly, hardly
mandatory to empathise when a wealth of
trade rests on manipulative behaviour
But from shade of sarcastic disdain we’re
able to peaceably comment on how tables
can be turned to serve cooler ideas – see
fancier views of who is supplied by whom
best where commutation has one resting
generously where enmity disfavours too
