Visual Blessing

clip_image002

If one must to be impressed then the
view from the balcony sets precedent;
she didn’t need precedent to be whom
she is, the signs unambiguously say a
new mother lives here, or much more
pertinently, Clementine’s mum is into
baby-clothes laundering with passion
expressed in her stacked clothes-line

This is a palpably visual gentleness –
expressions one cannot misconstrue
as assiduous ritualising or worse, the
burbs advertisement things changed
here, beware, mother-at-large, note:
proceed with caution at feeding time
