So if you commiserate with yourself on it
it becomes important, yet you’d say trivia
is mislaid in the wider schemes of things;
but it’s too Worldly an excuse to ignore -
even if it isn’t one you’d play ball with on
a clear day - and that’s your dilemma, a
need for an intimate who sees it all your
way - but no-one is that incredibly naive
No-one peers in your mirror like you do -
no-one sees those apparitions with their
bouffant delusions of grandeur you deny;
no, in summation your droll sense of mis-
adventure’s the only thing a judge would
agree as plea mitigation
